I may not fully trust WSWS, but the situation may be an attempt to be as equally heavy -handed against what is perceived as the extreme Left as against the Gangster Right (Stormfront and the Daily Stormer).
Without question, the use of the stock words "fake news" by Donald Trump is an effort to change news coverage of the Presidency and the lobbyist-controlled Congress so that news media will shade news coverage to give a glowing image of the President.
If necessary, I will seek out foreign sources. In Michigan that is easy enough: look for radio stations to the east. Toronto -- not Buffalo, you fool!
When Donald Trump shouts "Fake news!", then that is practically an admission that the neews i9s true.
