The quantity of food served in Europe is significantly smaller than in the United States and in Canada.

Perhaps that is one reason Europeans are not so disgustingly fat as the average American.

I heard that they can charge up to $30 aussie for a roast chicken in the UK.

They practically give chicken away here. Hell, we even have chickens running around free throughout my town. Tongue

Generally about 30$. It really, really depends on where you go, though. If you're lucky, 20$. If you're into fine dining, 50-60$.

I know someone who has a small farm. They let them to continue breeding and eventually had almost over 200 birds. They become a huge nuisance if you don't keep up with their eggs. Smiley
