The Federal Income tax is unconstitutional as well as the IRS. This is a better tax idea. www.fairtax.org

Why hasn't the Bush administration proposed a constitutional amendment to repeal the 16th amendment?

Only in my dreams. <sigh>

It used to be, years ago, but not now.

If you read the 16th Amendment to the Constitution, Statesrights, I think you'd realize that the federal income tax is not unconstitutional.

The way it was passed was is very questionable. And the S.C. declared income tax unconstitutional in the 1870s.

The amendment made it constitutional, which is why it must be repealed.  The question is again raised as to why Bush hasn't proposed a repeal to the 16th amendment instead of wasting time on f****ts.
