With hindsight, Nixon. definately.

Did you ever read about LBJ having a  political opponent knocked off in Texas? Disturbing.

Yes I know all about him but I probably wouldn't at the time. With all the knowledge of him, I would've definately voted Nixon, or for Hass or DeBerry.

Not many knew about it. Just wondering if you had heard that story. How about the meeting in Texas 3 days before the parade?

In 1964 Wallace did run for President in the Deep South States, but never won a primary, even in Alabama.

In 1964 he would nopt have run for President because he was just inaugurated Governor of Alabama in 1963.

Agnew would not have been the VP choice in 1964, considering he took the office of Governor of Maryland in 1967.

Its a What-If.
