Laughing at victims of marital rape is hilarious ain't it?

Yeah. Of course it's easy to think rape culture is not a serious problem that justifies making serious changes to our legal system to combat it when your chances of actually getting raped are next to nil.

As for these laws, they're a small steps in the right direction, but don't address the core of the problem IMO.

Maybe that has something to do with the fact that women who actually have tried reporting rapes have almost always been treated with disbelief and outright shaming?
