Would the robot be programmed with Asimov's Three Laws of Robotics?

If so, how could he serve as Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces when he is obliged to "not injure a human being or, through inaction, allow a human being to come to harm"?

Yeah, it's simply impossible to hold political power and respect this law.

Depends on an expert assessment of the flaws and risks. If they were better then a human in every way without serious risks(and wanted to help all of humanity, not just america) then easily

The nanogenes also wanted to help all of humanity...
