LoL. Poor Romney. I'm beginning to believe Obama will carry IN, GA, MT and NC if things continue this way.

Easy there, hoss.

Here's the most outrageous thing about Romney's stated beliefs: When that 47% is broken down, almost a fourth (over 10% total) are retirees. Even Romney has (wisely) acknowledged that Social Security and Medicare beneficiaries aren't "freeloaders".

Then the vast majority of that 47% (about 30% total) are Americans who have no net income tax liability, but DO pay payroll taxes such as FICA and Medicare. These individuals pay an effective tax rate of about 13%. That's "freeloading"?? Before you answer, consider: Which prominent presidential candidate recently admitted to paying "an effective tax rate of about 13%"? If the nearly one third of Americans paying payroll taxes but no income taxes are "freeloaders", Mitt, then so are you!

The remaining 6% or so of Americans earning under $20k a year don't pay income or payroll taxes. Clearly these scofflaws not having a bit more rung out of their income by Uncle Sam every week are the root of our fiscal woes. Haranging the poorest 16th of Americans for not paying taxes (other than sales tax and fees like license registration, which I'll opine takes a substantial chunk of their already meager income) is not only classless, but foolish.
