I find this primary map very aesthetic. Is there some kind of competition and antagonism going on between Dallas and Houston?

Here is the best analysis of the differences in the Texas regions out there.

I endorse this clip and this movie.
As do I. I take some nominal difference with the map and that I think the Tex-Mex border runs all the way west to El Paso, notwithstanding some Anglo majority counties being in the southwest part of the state being along the Rio Grande.

I guess Greater Austin has enough people for its designation as one of the sub States within Texas? Maybe?

I loved his comment about the Panhandle. I forgot to mention the Panhandle, and most people usually do. Grin
