Even though I'm enjoying my short stint in the Assembly very much, I shall not be running for re-election or accepting write-in votes.

Taking on more obligations in the real game in April and lots of client work ahead as well.

Too bad. Sad

Thanks, my friend.....I mean I'm not leaving the Atlas by any stretch but I don't have time to think about the NE Assembly right now........and the client work I want - $$$$$$$$$  Wink

Oh I know what you meant. And I stand by saying your leaving the NE Assembly is a loss to the region. (But apparently a $gain$ to you)  Wink

Endorsed! You do a great job working with fellow legislators with very different views from yours, and bring some ideological diversity to keep the SE Leg interesting too.

That shows great courage, friend. Good luck!

Good crop of legislature candidates we got coming, including a veteran or two getting active. I hope the Midwest takes notice. Wink

I will run in the upcoming special election for the Northeast Assembly vacancy.

Not a fan of the big government proposals, like, needle exchange programs?

No, I'm not a fan, but that's not why I'm running.  We need to get a Seats Number Constitutional amendment on the ballot,  that can actually pass - and I can't propose much if I'm not in the legislature.

Cinyc is the hardes working person I've seen in an assembly......the Northeast will be glad to have him.

Yeah, he's kind of the NE version of Inks.

(That's a compliment, BTW Wink)

7. Libertas shall be sacrificed to the Sun God for no apparent rhyme or reason.

Are you going to give a Sun God a heart attack? Angry

Or indigestion? Tongue

^^^ this. I like DF well enough, but competition keeping the NE from being a one party state is good. Smiley

After much deliberation, I recant my earlier statement and will accept write-ins for Northeast Assembly.

I've gotten a lot of encouragement and urging from friends on both the left and the right (Whom I have to thank) and a significant amount of write-ins, so I'll hang in there rather than throw the chips down.

As much as I was appalled by your last vote to end the Federal Reserve (really, DF? Really??), I'm glad you've decided to stay active in Atlasia. Smiley

As the voice of the people in the Senate, I suppose I must heed the popular call and stand for re-election in the at-large Senate elections.

Well, as long as you're not pompous about it....

Given pressure/harassment from others, I will accept my write-ins for Northeast Assembly.

(To address potential controversy, I said I wouldn't run; not that I wouldn't serve).
