i believe this will be my third time voting on such an amendment, and as in the past, I will vote in favor of it.

And it will fail in the regions.

Respectfully, have you actually read the bill? It only abolishes the Death penalty as a Federal punishment, and doesn't touch the regions.

Oh I know, but I have a hard time seeing all four of the non-southeast regions voting for it.

     But it was abolished as a federal punishment thirty-four Senates ago.

Anyway, seeing as I wrote this thing, you guys can table this if you want. Smiley

However, I still think the region's should at least consider changing their capital punishment laws.
