The young Sununu, right?  You really can't come back from being crushed the way he was and run from not being a current officeholder to the Presidency.  (Nixon doesn't count, he'd been VP)  Besides, America would never elect a skinny kid with a funny name to the Presidency.

Sununu wasn't crushed, and I don't think comebacks are impossible. After all, people are throwing that idiot Santorum's name around and he got crushed way worse.

Santorum was a national figure.  Sununu wasn't.  If Sununu wanted to make a comeback, he should focus on getting his old seat back in 2014 (he's still very young, so it's a plausible route for him).

In any case, you can forget about Sununu in 2012.
