Biden intimated at times that he would be a bridge to a new era for Democrats. There was speculation that after his goal of defeating Trump, he'd pass the baton to a younger, fresher face in 2024.

However as we know, Harris is an unpopular VP. I don't think it's a hot take to argue she'd get absolutely roasted if she was the nominee in November.

HOWEVER

If Biden had picked a more popular or more well liked VP, do you think he still would've run for a second term?
