I got to set up and vote in an actual punch-card voting booth used in the 2000 election in Palm Beach County in one of my classes. It was a fascinating, but extremely depressing, experience.

I doubt it was depressing at all.

It was indeed depressing in that I imagined that if I was an elderly citizen of Palm Beach I would have a hell of a time voting on that cheap little piece of crap they call a voting booth.
