If Lipinski represented OK-02, it would be one thing, but it is inexcusable for someone as rightwing as him to represent a Chicago district that swung to Hilary. Marie Newman would be a huge improvement.

The PPP poll's crosstabs showed that Lipinksi was winning 18-45 year olds, but they were also the largest age group in terms of undecided. Sanders getting involved should help Newman with this demographic, especially if he were to come to the district to campaign during the last week.

Very good, great statement by a great poster.

What do you feel about the drive to remove Lipinski from office? From my understanding, this is a traditional working-class kind of district, and one with a kind of "working-class religious" tint.

Ugh, I wish I could find it, but there was a great article recently about how radically this district has changed over the past decades. It has seen a mix of becoming more upscale in parts with greater diversification (about 1/3 Hispanic now).
