In keeping with the usual time frame for elections, voting is now open for 72 hours.

There are two Gubernatorial elections taking place here:

The Northeast Region

Declared Candidates:
Blerpiez (UL-MA)
ColinW (R-PA)
MAS117 (UAC-NJ)

States in this Region: Connecticut, Delaware, Massachussetts, Maine, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Vermont

Preferential voting is not in effect in the Northeast region.  Vote for one candidate only.

The Midwest Region

Declared Candidate:
ILikeVerin (I-MN)

States in this Region: Colorado, Iowa, Kansas, Minnesota, Nebraska, New Mexico, Oklahoma, North Dakota, South Dakota, Wyoming

The Midwest Constitution stipulates that elections will open noon Friday and close noon Sunday, even under the amended version. Therefore the polls have closed; Also Gustaf's vote was 1 minute and 51 seconds too early to be in the legal voting time.

ILV has won the Midwest Governorship by 4 votes to 1.

This is all subject to the SOFAs certification.

I did say in my opening post of this thread that I would use the normal 72 hour timeframe for these elections, so voting is still open.
It is statistically impossible for IlikeVerin to lose the Midwest election at this point, anyways, even if every other registered voter yet to vote in the region were to cast a vote for Dabeav.

While I am not well-versed in Northeast Regional law, I do believe you must at least register to vote before an election begins to be eligible to vote.  Redefeatbush04 registered after voting had begun here, thus his vote won't be counted.

Yes, now that he has cast one, Clay's vote will count.  I'm not worried about this being challenged in court since the outcome of the election is locked anyways.
