Mauricio Macri withdrew his bid. He knows that Argentina is a leftie country and supporting a moderate to defeat Kirchner. In July, there are elections in Buenos Aires. Macri is fighting for a 2nd term against Daniel Filmus (Kirchner's candidate) and filmmaker Fernando "Pino" Solanas. Filmus is the favourite to go to run-off with Macri.
Now, Solanas split with Binner. With this, Binner will have to work more to get votes in Buenos Aires. Solanas party will launch Alcira Argumedo, a federal deputy for Buenos Aires. In Buenos Aires province, rather than endorse Stolbizer, Solanas will go with Mario Cafiero, son of former peronist governor Antonio Cafiero.
Another news: Trotskyst Jorge Altamira is brother to Luis Favre, former husband of Brazilian senator Marta Suplicy.

Former Brazilian minister and controversial professor of Harvard, Roberto Mangabeira Unger is working for Alfonsin. PT marketman João Santana, who was responsible for 2006 Lula and 2010 Dilma victories is helping Duhalde (he worked for him in 1999 along with Duda Mendonça, disgraced after Mensalão scandal), although undercover, because Lula asked him (Lula is very friend to Kirchner).

Menem is doing same game that Collor and Sarney in Brazil. They give support to government and they got government support and popularity in return in their poor provinces.

Menem isn't running for Frente de la Victoria, but for Frente Popular Riojano, although supporting Cristina. FUERZA MOROCHA!
