statistically the older, whiter or maler you are the more likely you are to be a Republican. but no.

However, I do suspect that the majority of old white male racists are Republicans.

It is also probably true that the majority of black and latino racists are Democrats.

Its easy for Blacks to think white people dislike Obama just because of his skin color, and try to brand the opposition as evil people.  

But I think that's a foolishly small-minded and bigoted assessment.  People vote for their own self-interest and economic interests.  It doesn't necessarily mean they are voting specifically because they dislike an ethnic group.  
Indeed. However self interest doesn't always mean individual self-interest, but community factionalism. Especially in the Deep South "community factionalism" is often a very conscious matter of racial factionalism. Just look at how incredibly polarized elections in Mississippi are along racial lines.

I don't that's necessarily bigotry, any more then it is when similar racial tribalism takes place among blacks or various immigrant communities.
