I still think Bensten and Hart would have won, Dukakis was a terrible campaigner, Bensten/Hart would have done way better. Plus, Bensten could actually win debates against Bush and Hart would have triumphed over Quayle

Bush/Quayle 242 EVs

It would have been a different world. 2000 Bush wouldn't get the GOP nomination because George W. Bush wouldn't that well known without a former President's backing. McCain would have swept the nomination then. There might not have been a 2000 Republican Competition for the nomination. Clinton might have never been president. Who knows?
