Any chance of an SDP-FDP-Linke coalition? That would be my preference

Zero. FDP and Linke don't fit together. How is that supposed to work? Die Linke is way to the left of the SPD even on economic issues, where the FDP is classical liberal or center-right (and liberal on social issues). There are already obstacles for SPD-Green-Linke and SPD-Green-FDP, though both are possible. The latter certainly more so, and just today Baerbock expressed skepticism about Die Linke and their foreign policy.

Trafficlight is easily my preference, though SPD-Greens alone would even be better with Die Linke droping below five percent. That's not likely though.

I guess libertarian socialism isn't a thing in Germany Tongue

In all seriousness traffic light seems okay, though green parties have a tendency to be preachy and myopic.

Yuck. Looks like Canada and Germany are both big on terrible, center right status quos. Hoping Scholz can still pull it off.

I wouldn't call the Liberal Party centre-right, they're clearly centre to centre-left

They run on the center left but govern on the center to center right. Similar to American Democrats.

Looks like every updated projection gets better for the SPD. They've probably got this. FDP also going up, and Greens and AfD are going down.

Still no chance of an SPD-FDP-Linke coalition?

There never was one. FDP and Die Linke are just absolutely incompatible.

Lindner and Wissler both seem young, cool and full of new ideas. Was hoping they could put together some kind of libertarian socialist coalition.

Why would CDU and AFD loose voters to BSW?! And not SPD, Grune and Linke?!

In short, Wagenknecht is known for her anti-immigration, anti-"woke" stances, while being economically left-wing. This has put her at odds with many LINKE members, which is why she left.

That makes her sound perfect, but a bit more research shows she's pro Russia. A shame.
