Clarence is a man of my uncle's generation, and like my uncle he probably perceives gradual loss of certain privileges that he grew up used to as, if not oppressive, unfair, simply because his conception of fairness was built up in a time when people of his socioeconomic standing had those privileges. It's an inevitable bias that anybody who loses any kind of privilege has, at least to an extent.

She used to go to the Hampshire County Mosque and I've only talked to her once, sorry. The only part I'm not sure about is vegan. She's aging and I think she might be a sixties holdover of some kind.
