Openpolitics quiz:
24 Big Government, 17 Rationalist, 12 Wide Focus, 11 Democratic, 3 Collectivist (4 Human-Centric)
Which is accurate enough. Questions are pretty appalling. Both"
Idealist Literalist/Rationalist" and "Narrow/Wide Focus" dimensions make little sense, unless the former refers to "gut feeling" v. "clear thinking". I can't explain the latter.
I've become skeptical of dimension-based politics in general. It divides thinking into discrete realms instead of allowing people to develop an arching philosophy. Perhaps this is why socialism, having trapped itself in "the Western Left", is theoretically stagnant compared to the axiom of conservatism.
