She comes from the traditionalist wing of the GOP.  To quote lewrockwell.com

" But make no mistake. Sarah Palin is no neocon. She did not come by her beliefs by studying Leo Strauss. She is a traditionalist whose values are those of family, faith, community and country, not some utopian ideology."

Also look at Todd Palin's sympathies toward the Constuition Party (Alaska Independance Party). They aren't exactally a bastion for aggressive wars abroad.
