Exactly. All he had was hype behind him, and he got 43% of the vote vs a super well established politician. If Bernie just did slightly better with black voters and won Iowa (which he barely lost), he would have been a much, much more competitive candidate.

A super well established politician who started out at 3% in the polls? Obama started out at 25%.
