The funny thing is that last poll had Westly doing better than Angelides.

Given Arnold's approval rating is only 41%, the Democrats definitely need a better candidate.

In both polls, Schwarzenegger's support is lower than his approval rating.  That means that there are some people who approve of Schwarzenegger, but who still aren't committed to voting for him.

Coupled with the fact that Schwarzenegger has been governor for two or three years, while his opponents are not very well known, I think that this is bad news for Arnold, not good news.

But.... An incumbent down 40-41 against an unknown is good news.....
