Washington, Jefferson, Lincoln, Cleveland, (Ben) Harrison, and Coolidge are the ones I consider the most honest, though a honest human is an oxymoron, as has been pointed out. Of these, Washington, Lincoln, and Harrison are not Presidents that I would necessarily like politically.  How anyone could vote for any of the others is beyond me.

Adams was an aspiring tyrant for creating the Alien and Sedition Acts.

Madison heavily edited his letters and diaries in his later years, destroying much of our nation’s history in order to preserve his legacy.

Monroe was a politician through and through, but was not a particularly bad (or good) President.

John Quincy Adams was never legitimately elected President to begin with…

Andrew Jackson got rid of the bank, but was a dictator who wiped his ass with the constitution. HP.

Martin Van Buren was a very good President, but the Trail of Tears….

William Henry Harrison ran against Van Buren by frequently screaming “I LIVEZ IN A CABIN” while lying about his background-a rich Virginia planter. He did not focus on the issues, and was the ultimate do nothing President.

John Tyler is a truly underrated man—but, like Monroe, he was a politician. He should of bolted from the Whigs and just ran as a Democrat. But, instead, he remained in the party, and then betrayed their principles (which were wrong anyway) as President.

James Polk was not a bad President, but his hawkish views nearly lead to the United States and the United Kingdom going to war. A FF, but he had his flaws.

Zachary Taylor did prevent some bad stuff from going down, but all in all, he never really did anything in my opinion that would make him an “honest man”.

Millard Fillmore forced Japan to open up trade.

Franklin Pierce was a Confederate spy in his later years for hells sake!

James Buchanan was….he…he just sucked.

Johnson was incompetent, self serving, and vengeful. He did not have the country on his mind.

Grant had his problems with corruption…

Hays, Garfield, and Arthur did not do much of note. Hays was not legitimate, like Adams Jr, because the election was clearly stolen.

More to come Wink
