I can't imagine anyone having a sticker like that here. Even my simple generic Kerry sticker was ripped off pretty soon after putting in on. 
--Then i taped one to the inside! ha, take that, vandals!
Good plan. Invite them to take a rock to your windshield.
If it doesn't work try painting it on your trunk. Lets see how far these vandals go!
Seriously, I hate when people do that. My neighbors have stolen my sister's pink flamingoes she keeps in her yard and tried to steal her Bush Cheney sign. An alarm system, a camera and a quick trip to court for a $50 fine has conviced them to stop trying to steal her yard ornamentation.
