This act will fill a glaring hole in our social safety net - that is, it will provide workers with paid leave and additional security against the unpredictability of life that comes with sickness, as well as ending the travesty of being the only nation in the industrialized world that does not guarantee paid vacation days to its workers, as well as paid parental leave for young parents.

I have a feeling this goes deeper and deeper into the intimate workings of a business, I think we should respect that to a certain extent.

Also, I think those tax incentives are a bit much. Not that it'll make much of a difference for me, but can we can get a check on this in terms of cost?

Why should we 'respect' that? Businesses operate within law of the Republic of Atlasia, the Republic of Atlasia does not operate within the law of business.

I'm fine with cutting out the tax incentives. Doing so will probably mean a few smaller companies will go under, however, and that is what I was aiming to avoid here.

I will need to give this a closer look but so far it looks solid to me!

Glad to hear that it has your tentative support, Senator.

I am voting nay. It is better than the original proposal but still a bit too much.

>amends a bill significantly
>votes against it

I'm going to keep introducing this ball until it passes, FTR. Love how all you Feds are hopping to cut taxes for rich people and not a one of you will even consider helping out sick workers or young mothers.

I fully support the redraft of the bill and ask the Senate to vote in favor of it.
