TJ, do you think it is okay to rule on cases with a slightly political angle? Meaning, if you were to rule on a case regarding abortion, do you think it's okay to allow your personal values to influence your decision?
If presented with such a case, I would strive to be as impartial as possible. A judge's job in a situation where the legality of a law is questioned is to determine whether or not a law can be passed under our constitutions, both federal and regional, not whether or I view it a good law. As for a suit on abortion, I would listen to the arguments to make such a determination as I would under any other case. The Mideast Constitution is very specific about the powers of the Superior Court and I will follow it.
