Fairly positive. One think about the Lutherans I respect is that even among the more liberal churches and lines of thought they, unlike so many mainline Protestant denominations, have not abandoned basic Christian teachings like the divinity of Christ or the Trinity to go along their political liberalism.

Personally, I associate with the Missouri Synod Lutherans, and that's the only type I'll attend.

Is there a particular reason for this? Do you have issues with the ELCA or WELS or is it just a function of where you live?
