Guys, you know the Dutch will simply pop in four goals by the end of this one. Tongue

Van Persie is cursed. I think my top scorer prediction is going to be wrong now. Huntelaar is definitely starting the next match.

Ballack predicted the same score line as I did! Smiley  He's the only non-dumbass on the ESPN set.

First time it's been scoreless at half time in this tournament. We've been spoiled. Tongue

How about almost having another goal controversy in a Germany game? Wink

I am scared to think what kind of utter dumbinkses you must be comparing him with.

You have no idea...

How is Ballack's English?

Not bad. During the first few broadcasts, he kept looking down at his notes though. That might just be because he isn't used to being a commentator.

Of course, Hash shows up just to troll. Such a hateful person but we know his background. Lots of jealousy there, too.

Antonio is right: I'm glad we're facing a giant instead of a mediocre or even a poor team. Italy is best as the underdog. I expect a draw (which I'll happily take) but a win certainly isn't out of the question.

Yeah, Hash (and the other guy): please stop being such a Francoist! I won't tolerate fascism in this thread.

Despite some good play, Balotelli and Cassano summed up why I dislike them in the first half. Cassano blatantly trips Casillas and plays dumb. Good one, Antonio.

What a tournament so far. If it stays like this the remainder, I owe Poland and Ukraine a big apology.

Not going 100% with tipping today. Sad

If it ends in a tie now, Croatia and Ireland will be tied with Italy and Spain but will technically be ahead due to goals scored (not that it matters at this point).

Words cannot be found to describe this... thing... of a post.

Diving is the absolute worst thing about the sport, IMHO. Certain nations, cough, have seemed to refine that aspect of the game and turned it into an art form.  You would have thought there was a sniper in the stands.

I hate diving just as much as anyone else, guys, but the studs hit him on the arm (if barely) and that can really hurt.

Spain, a team of whiners finally realizing amongst themselves that they won't retain their title, blame a "shameful" pitch for their draw - http://www.football-italia.net/19826/spaniards-blame-shameful-turf
