Spain subverting democracy. Who woulda thunk it?

If Western Australia announced that it was going to hold a referendum to decide secession from Australia, would the Australian government be fine with that?

It would be contrary to the Commonwealth of Australia Constitution Act which established Australia as "one indissoluble Federal Commonwealth".

So does that mean he supports Portugal being reintegrated into the Spanish realm, or did the legitimacy of seeking independence on the Iberian peninsula end in 1668?

(Not that I think Catalonia should be trying to gain independence this way, but a Portuguese politician has no business condemning the attempt given Portuguese history.)
