Okay, buddy! 3/4 of the political subjects discussed on these forums I could pound you into the ground on with little effort as many on here have already learned.

As can be shown by his impressive knowledge of Mrs Franz Kafka and of the well-known British politicians Willy Brandt and Tage Erlander.

On the other hand, he was talking to Bgwah. So it sort of evens out, I'd say.

I saw your post was the last one and figured it was a response to mine. Remembering what I had posted I was actually going to apologize, because in retrospect it was an uncalled for jerk sort of post.

This kind of made me speechless though. This world has so many layers of irony sometimes I just feel lost.

Carry on with the goldmining everyone.

Slavoj Zizek has written extensively about "Kung Fu Panda", so I think the Star Wars prequels are fair game.

The question then arises whether the Off-Topic Forum should not aspire to more academical rigour than a Zizek book.

I agree with this.

I liked Hugh's post. I consider it to be meta-humour.

I was going to answer that post with something along the lines of "So how do you toss your salad?" but then I thought better of it. It's not a thread made for arguing.

Since that thread got locked I just want to put the following out there as a reply to the last 2 posts of it:

Inks: FCK YOU
Mikado: Yes. Very much so.

People seem to think that Inks gets offended by profanity. That's not my impression. He's a stickler for rules, so he upholds the ToS which specifically prohibits profanity.

I was wondering if anyone would fall for it, hah. But I definitely did some worship this morning.

people here have been predicting some massive BRTD shift to lifestyle conservatism since at least 2005.  it is at least possible yet, he isn't 30, but to view it as some sort of inevitability is a crude oversimplification: there is the chance that he simply is what he is.

And for the record, I've never really understood why some were so adamant on that. It's not like there's tons of conservative influence in my social circle or anything.

I told you like a year ago making maps will NOT help you get girls.

Please, this is nonsense. If making maps doesn't help you get girls you're doing it wrong.

The second to last girl I kissed insisted on having a lengthy discussion about the first round results in the French presidential election. I still think maps are to be avoided though.
