The number of Mormons by percent in Utah has been on the decline and losing about .5% every year. In 2004, the percentage of Mormons in Utah was 62%. In 2007, it was 60%. Now, in 2011 it is at about 58%. According to an article in the Salt Lake City Tribune, Mormons should be under 50% by 2030.
The bad news for Mormons doesn't stop there. Many of the younger Mormons are not true Mormons at all. They are "Jack Mormons". Jack Mormons drink Jack Daniels (Even on Sundays) and smoke reefer.
