Why are people in the USA so obsessed with their auto industry? It's hardly as important to the US economy as say, the financial sector. And let's be honest - you people will never be good at making cars.

It's a symbol. Americans love symbols. They give you hope without actually requiring you to think.

Obama embracing the Obamacare term is brilliant I think - embracing the opposition's terminology that's supposed to be seen as negative can defuse the term's effectiveness.

Slight Romney win for three reasons:
1. He was clear and confident throughout. (a little overzealous at some times, but better than the opposite)
2. He exceeded expectations.
3. Obama was off his game, especially in the latter half.

No mention whatsoever of gay marriage and other gay issues?

Obama mentioned Don't Ask Don't Tell being repealed.
