yep, unions trying to destroy small businesses.  Quite a suprise Tongue

If the previous Senate hadn't got clogged up extremely rapidly, I would have introduced a bill that would have slashed taxes for small businesses.
So there Tongue

Look...just because your balls are beginning to sag does not mean fresh, young faces can not be in senate and get things done.

Always have been a polite and mature individual haven't you, Mike?

Would you care to present it, with full knowledge it will most likely be ignored by the majority of senators? Cheesy

Indeedy:

Small Businesses operate, for the most part, on extremely tight margins. The sad fact is an increase in the minimum wage without offering some kind of financial relief will hurt small business. We need people to be paid decent wages, we also need more small businesses as they are a part of the community in a way that some large corperation isn't.

As a result I propose EITHER slashing taxes on small businesses OR offering some kind of rebate from the federal Government.

I'll leave any decision making up to the Senate.

I request the honourable gentleman to remember that what he holds to be true is no more than his opinion or the opinion of others.
There is no objective truth in politics or economics and to act as though there is, is the hight of arrogance.
