Kind of crazy that all of the states that send more than they get back, save for Texas went for Obama twice.  Really throws a wrench in all of those "dependency" arguments.

However, it could just be a large vs. small states thing as well (perhaps senate influence?).  I'm amazed that even with the auto bailout, MI still sends more than it gets back...

I think those figures reflect FY 2012, which doesn't include bailouts
