347: Vice Pres. George Bush(R-TX)/Gov. Thomas Kean(R-NJ) - 49.4%
197: Sen. Sam Nunn(D-GA)/Rep. Harold Ford, Sr.(D-TE) - 45.6%

Fmr. Sen. Eugene McCarthy(I-MN)/Fmr. Gov. Patrick Lucey(I-WI) - 4.5%

Pretty much! I honestly think Eugene could do very well in this scenario, at least breaking 5%+ nationwide and can get at least low double digits in liberal strongholds!! Smiley
McCarthy would have outpolled Bush in Cambridge and Amherst (MA) and Berkeley (CA).
