With Groenlinks they will have a majority in both chambers of Parliament.

If the PvdA wins they might push for that option.

True, but CDA will lose big for the second time in a row. They really need time out of power.

The CU is too small in the senate. Groenlinks isn't.

They don't have to enter the cabinet. In the lower chamber, based on the polls, PvdA/VVD/D'66 will have a majority.

They could make some deal to support the government in the senate.

Why doesn't Pvda simply form a coalition with SP?

That'd be wonderful. But it's impossible Cry

True. Except for Groenlinks, no other party wants to join such a coalition.

Polls close at 9, exit poll will follow right after that.

BVN probably doesn't have his own exit poll, but might publish the same exit poll as NOS and RTL will have (NOS and RTL are working together on the exit poll).

Both, popular vote and seats. We have PR here, so they can do the math.

PvdA and VVD are dominating this election. And together they have a majority in the lower chamber.

More of a let-down. They didn't win anything, that is true, but they didn't lose anything either.

But, it's just a exit poll.

Thanks, but I was thinking more at real-time updated results, not a TV livestream. I can't understand Dutch.

Results will take some time to come in. And the NOS will show the numbers when they are available.

The Eerste Kamer is going to make coalitions much more difficult than it ordinarily would be.

PvdA and VVD would need the support from D66 and CDA to have a majority there.

D'66 and GroenLinks are enough in the senate.

Most likely cabinet now: VVD/PvdA/D'66 (for support in the senate).
