Also, if we have any creative posters who can think of a cute nickname that we can use to collectively refer to the 5 Romney state Democrats, I'd sure love suggestions!

EDIT: Actually, I really like the "Red-State Blues" name the best, now that I think about it. Very jazzy, while at the same time, it's literally what they are, politically.

Richard Lieberman, a LaPlace Democrat running in the open CD6, has a website up. Its probably worth noting that it wasn't until I read all the way through his biography until the word "Democrat" even appeared.

Only in the south do you have Democrats who run as "proud conservatives" Cheesy

Well, McIntyre's retirement may have adverse implications for Rouzer; there are several R state legislators who might now look at this race that otherwise wouldn't.

Shades of Matheson and Mia Love; legislators over here are doing the same think.

In any case, dang, that's R+1 for sure.
