I can't boast doing 100 squats or 100 whatsits, but I'm slowly beginning to get off my ass and do some physical activity. My mom bought a TreadClimber a few months ago, so I've made a bet with myself that I can lose 20 lbs before school starts. I've done it for half an hour every day since I got back from Florida last week, and for me... that's pretty impressive. I'm thinking I might get into counting calories too. If the scale hasn't budged at all after three weeks, I'll have to take an axe to some of my eating habits. We'll see. I've been pretty decent at maintaining the same weight while doing absolutely nothing though, so I've got to believe that this TreadClimber will help.

Beyond that, I really haven't done much. We set off a couple fireworks for the Victoria Day long weekend, and I'll probably be up until the wee hours for no reason whatsoever. Tomorrow I think I'll go and get a criminal background check so I can volunteer at my old high school for a couple weeks. Might put in some job applications too. I hate it though, because if hear the old "apply online" garbage one more time, I think I'll explode. To me, life is about people. Applying online is like the worst thing ever.

Just drink beforehand then. No need to work yourself up over these things. I read the stuff. There's no threat to anything. Everything is going to be alright.

Crappy thing is, they're all the same. They prick and prod, and expect everyone to roll over for it. And I won't. I know it's a trap, but I feel like not springing the trap is just as bad.

Anyhow, no one is interested in the emotional deconstruction of Hagrid, so I'll stop. It's probably in my best interest anyway.
