I made predictions regarding 55 counties that were close Gore in 2000 that I predicted would go Bush in 2004.  Well, as it turns out, 31 of those predictions were wrong, while 24 were right.  I was generally pleased, as I made that list on the assumption of a landslide.  I didn't know I would get half those counties right in a close election.  My original post appeared back in the 2004 U.S. Pres. Election board.  Search for "counties", with my username, and in that board and you will find it.  So here's the list.  I think it serves as a good guide as sort of a mini-swing county analysis.

I predicted that Loudoun County would go for Bush.

Nailed that one.

LOL.  Of course it would.  Bush would have to do something really crazy to not win that one.
