He was actually a decent guy.  The world has just lost a valuable asset.  He was not a terrible guy, just adamant about what he believed, which is alot of what I believe, though different parties.

I'm not entirely sure of that.  The guy had a whole lot of hurtful words for a whole lot of people.  He blamed 9/11 on just about every single group of people he didn't like, including pagans, feminists, and the ACLU.  He described AIDS as "the wrath of a just god against homosexuals".  He even went so far as to declare that "God is a Republican".

That said, I never take pleasure in someone's death, even if I didn't particularly consider that person an asset to the world.

And, yes, if you are a believer in Jesus Christ and have accepted him as Lord and Savior as Jerry and myself have done and many, many others before and after us, the death of this body is a promotion of the soul because we get to a place where we will have no more hurt, no more sickness, and no more crying, and no more death.

Well, that sounds awfully boring.
