The election was quite close as the two were quite ideologically similar. It ends up centering around rhetoric- with Kentucky Governor TNF doing better in the South and with working class whites, while Sol did better in big cities and with minorities. Sol won very narrowly, thanks to Minnesota, which was called after a month-long recount.
