I am not the Wisard Ekstraordinaer yet, but I am wanting to get started as a citizen now to get the Midwest back to running on functional levels. Right now, An amendment is making its way through that will give us a legislature with 3 Representatives (The results now seem to indicate that will pass with flying colors). I want to rally some people to run for the offices: Anyone who is thinking about it I encourage them to run. If you are thinking of office elsewhere, but not sure you can make it, I encourage you to move to the Midwest. I would love a crowded electoral field, but at least 3 people (to fill the spots) would be lovely.

Any comments? Anyone who wants to give it a go?

I have PM'd five candidates that I feel would be great for the Midwest but I still put this thread up for encouragement.

Also, tmth, I think that the R-WY was a sock of Vegatboi, but I could be wrong in thinking that.

If Julio doesn't run I weep for your region.

I have talked with Julio, who has told me he'd be a lot more active in a couple of months.

Are you talking about Wyoming Conservative? I don't think he's a sock, but he hasn't been online in over a month...

Yes that's him. Idk he disappeared in the same fashion that Vegtaboi accounts tend to, so that's what I was thinking, but maybe not every account with bad spelling and a fast rate of disappearance is Vegtaboi.

I will certainly be running, should the Amendment pass (and I hope it does).

Endorsed! And there's hardly a chance it won't.

Now to find two more willing, active, and able bodies.

Will the Regional Kommisaer be a Representatant?

He appoints Representatants if there aren't enough candidates, if that's your question.

Fantastic!

Sorry, I assumed that the RK was supposed to be Head of Government, in the sense that he was like the Speaker of the Althing. Tongue

Oh, and yes, he is a Folk Representatant and like Speaker. So its three Folk Representatant, and the Regional Komissioner, who acts much like a Rep, but mostly votes when its tied (which is impossible).
