FWIW, she's 38, that's pre-menopause. Biologically she's in an age range that men would still find many women attractive, as she's still capable of breeding. That said I don't find her anything special.
I read this in Dennis Reynolds' voice.

LOL!

I think equal pay is an issue that needs to be confronted, however I've always felt that controlling wealth inequality is pointless. It penalizes those who have become successful. Single payer systems don't usually work well, look at the NHS in the UK. A toddler is now dead because of it, and there are probably thousands more that didn't make waves to the US. Do I think we should have public healthcare for those who are below the poverty line? Absolutely. Do I think we should force everyone onto a government program? No.

So not being a socialist is absurd and ignorant. Good to know.

Absolutely!

That being said, the assertion that Charlie Gard's death is attributable to single-payer healthcare and that MDSS would've somehow been curable had he been born in the US is even dumber than the various right-wing talking points about "penalizing the successful Sad" included in that cancerous post.

I dont think the OP was trying to argue that the only reason this rare disease existed was the UK's bad healthcare system, merely that in the less evil system we have over here, the kid's odds of living jump from 0% to 1%. 1% isn't great, but its much better than the literal death sentence handed out by the evil death panels behind NHS rationing. Just look at how NHS is rationing joint surgery if you are a smoker or are fat. Now that's evil.

A white Southern Baptist could care less about Christians getting killed or persecuted in Nigeria or Iraq. Those Christians aren't "their people" (Western white people) so it doesn't bother them.

I mean not that I like Moore, but what does a Senate's candidate adult son getting arrested have anything to do with the party at large?

It's more the hypocrisy that tends to come out from the GOP. Poor people who defraud benefits are scum who ought to starve, but rich Republicans engaging in bribery is fine and GOP primary voters don't bat an eye. Abortion is murder and pregnant women should die rather than have one, but Republican politicians can encourage mistresses and daughters to get abortions and it's no problemo.

At the core of this is the fact that Republican law and order rhetoric is mostly a racist vendetta against ethnic minorities, while as long as the perpetrator is white they're fine with all sorts of crime being forgiven and running away from legal principles.

Damn. That is ignorant and absurd. Apparently its hypocritical to not be a lefty stereotype of an evil conservative.

Hard to pick 10 favorites and even harder to put them in order, so I'll just name the first ten that came to my head ... SUPER subject to change:

Livin' On a Prayer by Bon Jovi
Coast of Carolina by Jimmy Buffett
Changes in Latitudes, Changes in Attitudes by Jimmy Buffett
Summer of '69 by Jimmy Buffett
Frenchman For the Night by Jimmy Buffett
The Load Out/Stay by Jackson Browne
December 1963 by Four Seasons
Maggie May by Rod Stewart
I've Got a Rock 'N' Roll Heart by Eric Clapton
Let Me Take You Home Tonight by Boston

How the hell is this absurd or ignorant?

Even 1 jimmy buffet song is unacceptable. That list includes 4.

“This glib proposal to outlaw the Communist Party would be quickly recognized everywhere as an abject surrender by the great United States to the methods of totalitarianism." - Thomas Dewey

When we talk about free speech, I want everyone to understand this: free speech for all mankind, respect freely given where it is not deserved, this is a truly radical idea.

Implying that communism is morally eauivalent to neo-nazism.

Totalitarian communism is a genocidal philosophy. The original post was great - the government should have no role in the United States in outlawing political philosophies, no matter how repugnant.

Jesus f**k

Totalitarian communism is definitely a genocidal philosophy. What do you expect happens to anyone who wants to opt-out of a communist system?

I guarantee that it is worse for me than either of them.  When your biggest concern is abortion, elections are really life-or-death events and at least another, maybe 2 more, Holocausts will happen due to this setback.

Have you become full-on liberal?

Using the word "Holocaust" when describing anything but the Holocaust is automatically absurd. The idea that Roy Moore is the difference between ending abortion in America and not might be even more absurd, though.

That was my initial thought when i read this ... how in the hell would roy moore end abortion.

It seems that certain people can't accept that their side can possibly lose without it being cheating:

It'd be fun to hear their explanation for how these supposed MS blacks got registered to vote in AL and got AL photo IDs in order to vote. I swear some people don't even use their brains.

Simple. Black Precinct in Birmingham, Montgomery, or Dallas County, maybe Tuscaloosa, and the following happens

Hello there Reverend Niger

Why hello there poll Watcher porch monkey. How use be doing today?

Oh I be fine. I'd be fine got to wash this poll voting thing going on all day. Los amazing.

Chuckle chuckle. Load ain't it though. I just use my welfare stamps and what not, plus all the checks I get from northern Jews talking about trying to get Democrats around here, and that usually does.

Used don't say! Why I be doing the same thing

He he he he ho ho. Well ain't that the darndest. Anyhoo, I've got me a Bus full of brothers and sisters from Mississippi Outback. You know how he's going to take care of this right (big wink)

Oh yes sir I does. You just get them on back. I'll get them I miss her ribs and Fried Chicken and watermelon

Events do that. I had to give them a bottle of Ripple each to get them on the bus and now there's going to be hungry

Ain't no worries. Oh mr. Soros got us lots of money. You just get them fine Mississippi brothers and sisters lined up. He's going to get ourselves some Whitey tonight oh, ain't we!

Sho Nuff!

(And scene)

And so this track plays itself endlessly on the average Fox News viewer in Alabama

Honestly, that was well written. It's like reading a Faulkner short story

Nah. If it was by faulkner there would be 10 more pages of dialogue and narration all clumped together in a single paragraph.

Blinded partisan remarks that ignore the truth because they don't fit in his little fantasyland bubble

Democrats love their sexual predators.

Just ask all the Dems who still love folks like Bill Clinton, John Conyers, and Al Franken.

Let's not forget the super Dem state of California:
https://www.politico.com/story/2017/12/24/sexual-harassment-allegations-california-democrats-306231

And those are just a small handful of examples.

Stop pretending you're a member of some special FF party when you guys are just as bad as the other guys.

Okay, Jill stein/Gillespie supporter

OOOOOOOOO Burn.

Keep on the going lower, baby. The lower it goes it higher the midterm gains could go.

That’s exactly what Republicans said from 2009-2016. As for me, I’m hoping for another subprime mortgage crisis so prices are rock bottom when I’m ready to buy in another year or so.

You wouldn't care very much if they were Rs.
