I fully support this resolution, Atlasia absolutely cannot stand by and ignore Nicolas Maduro's Regime as it continues to oppress it's people.  Atlasia should, at the very least, stand in moral and economic support of the people oppressed by a Dictator.  (Economic Support would mean Sanctions against a nation ran by a Dictator.)

One note is that if Mr. Reactionary votes aye on this, the resolution already has the support of the Secretary of State Smiley

The State Department has no objection to this resolution, and hopes it passes. I will be abstaining on a final vote because I do not want to affirmatively vote on expanding my duties, but that is not in any way an expression of opposition to this. Maduro and his regime deserve our scorn and I know the administration feels the same way.

Given the speed at which the situation in Venezuela is progressing* I request unanimous consent to move to a final vote on this resolution.

Final vote on the following bill is now open for 72 hours or 12 hours after there are enough votes to pass or fail or until all 6 Senators having voted, whichever occurs soonest.
