Who else gets irritated when someone (presumably accidentally) substitutes 'succession' for 'secession'?  Tongue
A little.  What annoys me more is when Republicans in states like Texas talk about secession because of Obama when it was Democrats who supported secession because of Lincoln.

Hmm... could that maybe suggest that those Democrats are now Republicans?

Those Democrats are now dead. Tongue
Yeah, but would YOU want to support Democrats if you knew about that, no matter how long ago it was?

I'm an advocate of secession, so yes. Unfortunately, the Democratic Party no longer has the platform it did in the 19th century, as everyone except yourself seems to have noticed.

Not sure whether to put this in the comedy mine or the sulfur mine but since it's Winfield I'm putting it here:

No.

I am not so desperate as to seek spiritual inspiration, much less anything else, from a cabal of spaced out pot heads.

I thought you liked smoke filled rooms.

Literally every other sentence and clause in this post is either sexist bull, or a cultural product of sexist bull being used to back up the other sexist bull.

Not too much of an opinion on his Svensson incarnation but his Townsend iteration was a ridiculously pompous, overly sensitive gobsh!te who seemed to specialise in mock outrage. I can only assume his hilarious meltdown was as a result of the perilously thin air atop his high horse. Certainly a HP.

I might, but I can't say for sure.  I would much rather live in a wealthy or middle-class black neighborhood than a poor one.

I'm absolutely shocked! How come?
Not because of race.  It's just that I really don't like crime.  And urban clothes, weird names, and "gangsta rap" really don't make blacks look that good anyway.

Oh, well if that's the case. That makes you look very tolerant, as the Northern Yankee Republican you are.

I get him and Cathcon mixed up quite a bit, but both are massive FF's in my opinion.  I don't agree with everything he says, but I don't agree with everything anyone says, but he's a great young man and is an important and (should be) valued member of this forum.

You are the last person on earth that should talk about valued posting.

No, sorry, Paul Kemp is immune to sulfur burns.  Especially lazy, ineffective ones like that.

If for some reason I do decide to have children one day it will not be because I actually want them, but only because I feel like the world needs more people like myself, and children grow-up to be very similar to their parents...

Yes, the world certainly needs more people who think this way:

I don't think father should be required to pay child-support for children born out of wedlock.  Our system needs to support and encourage traditional marriages, as the best way to rear children is in a two-parent household.  Maybe if women knew that they couldn't get child support if they weren't married, they would stop sleeping around and tell their fellas to "keep it in ya pants"!

Now, if a couple divorces then child support should only have to be paid if the parents have equal custody.  I don't think a father who doesn't have custody over one or more of his children should be forced to financially support them.  That would be like me buying dog food for my neighbor's dog.

He's probably just talking about the radical Muslims.  Not all Muslims are radicals or terrorists, you know.

I love how you whitewash and rationalize any and all evidence of Republicans being bigoted or appealing to bigotry in the exact way you accuse us of doing with Democrats.

That's generally how blatant hypocrisy works, but few people manage to be so dumb and staggeringly obsessive about it.

Why is siding with striking workers any more left-wing that siding with mostly poor workers who are unable to travel in the city because of the strike?

^We need to ban posts like this in the sulfur mine. Regardless of whether you agree with it or not, this place is for the "oh damn burnnn" kinda posts not these lame boring srs bsns posts.
