Is it just me, or does Old School Republican have a major hard-on for Ilhan Omar?
The guy is obsessed with talking about her, every chance he gets.

We should have just let her ungrateful self rot in the Somali trash pit she crawled herself out of.

So in your (and trump's) eyes, Somali is a "sh*thole Country."
Nice. Stay classy.

I am not saying she shouldnt have the right to say those things lol, she certainly does but that doesnt mean the content of her statements arent ungrateful and disgraceful.

BTW my parents and I are immigrants as well and so are most of our friends and most of them agree it is ungrateful for people who are given refuge by this nation to trash this nation nonstop. Also most of our friends arent Republican either but agree on this .

But yet you say nothing about blue avatars here in this thread who are "disgraceful" and "disrespectful" by calling Somalia a sh*thole country (literally).
So you are OK with Somalia being disrespected, but if it's our nation, you have a problem.
What if your parent's former country was described as a sh*thole country. Or you OK with that? Would they be OK with that? Is that disrespectful?
There are ways to say or to describe that other countries have certain problems, but it is completely disrespectful to say they are "sh*thole countries," simply because they are poor or in governmental chaos (sometimes due to major internal civil wars).

Comparing a user on an internet forum to a member of Congress is laughable and totally absurd as well. BTW Fhtagn edited that post and changed it to trashy place to live.

She did not change her original post trashing Somalia.
If anything she went on, posting more comments confirming that she thinks Somalia is a "Sh*thole country."
Are you blind?

If you don't think Somalia is a sh*thole country, feel free to relocate there.

... and trashing our nation non stop Omar comments time and time (again) ...

Where have you been reading that Omar has been "trashing our nation time and time again?"
You say this like she says things everyday. Maybe you should put your energy into someone else who truly is "trashing our nation" and its institutions "time and time again" .... trump.
I swear you act like someone who is totally obsessed with Omar.

Every time I see something about Ilhan Omar I have to check things out to determine (A) what it is she really said, and (B) what idea was she trying to convey

"... and then type out at least four paragraphs demonstrating that I accomplished neither."

Did I (A) act like an adult, or (B) interrupt the Echo Chamber?  Replies like this suggest I did one or the other.

Actually you did ...
(C) Give us the usual Fuzzy anti-Islam, anti-Muslim bigotry crap veiled in your supposed "adult" and neutral responses. From here on forward, to be known as the "Fuzzy anti-Islam Echo Chatter."

She's an absolute disgrace and should be expelled from the Democratic conference. Sometimes it feels as she is a Russian bot to help Donald Trump winning reelection. Omar and Steve King are the absolute worst members of congress.

Imagine hating the left so much you'll repeat literal right-wing propaganda to justify your hatred lol

Propganada lol, she said those words.

Except for when you "conveniently" remove the context to fit your personal agenda.

She clearly described the 9/11 attacks in a dismissive way and that is unacceptable. If she didnt know that then she would be then showing that she is pretty dumb as well and if you add in all her previous controversial statements then she would be one of the dumbest members of Congress as well.

Jesus Christ, you're more obsessed with her than I am, and that's coming from a guy who left his party over their treatment of her.

He is absolutely obsessed with her.
And then to hear him say how Omar "clearly described" is pure trump-cultism and GOP trolling.
What she said has been taken out of context and reduced to the few words they want to hear to create fake controversy and drama.

I see almost all of the Democratic candidates for President have received their talking points. Daring to criticize the bungling words and inept follow-up response of a Congressman is now "incitement to violence".

What's good for the goose is good for the gander. I'll keep that in mind the next time a Democratic politician criticizes President Trump or another Republican politician.

Or we can all be adults and realize the First Amendment gives us the absolute right to criticize our elected representatives. But many Democrats don't seem to believe that anymore.

We are dealing with what the President of the United States of America is saying, not just any "politician."
And to describe the Orange Clown and his words as "adult" in nature, is hilarious.

She had a death threat less than a week ago, and the president is stoking the flames here. He's literally choosing politics over her physical safety. Trump is proving to everybody that he's willing to risk her life in order to get / keep votes and support.

How many death threats do you suppose President Trump gets in a day? Are you and Democrats "stoking the flames" and "choosing politics over his physical safety" whenever you dare question his words, deeds or authority? If not, why not?

You cant possibly expect a serious answer to this gibberish.

The First Amendment applies to all politicians, too - including the President of the United States.
By dumb Democrat logic, you're inciting violence against the President of the United States by calling him "the Orange Clown". Stop criticizing him now - or else.
See how that works?

LOL.
Your "logic" is so warped.
I suggest you take your comments over to Breitbart's forum, where others of your kind will take what you say as the Word Of God.

Thanks for the invitation to go elsewhere. Sorry, I'll pass - as long as the moderators don't ban me for daring to vie from the illiberal, anti-First Amendment Atlas "consensus".
Try dealing with differing viewpoints with logic, instead of personal attacks.

That's OK, because I really didn't want you to leave.
Your comments create great laughter here on this forum. You should think about becoming a comedian.
I'll ask the mods not to "ban you."

It's not about criticism of a politician. It's about his whole Muslim baiting schtick that he has been going on about since 2016. His being the biggest icon for the sort of politics that got 50 Muslims killed in New Zealand.

This is all about criticism of a dumb thing Omar said. You don't get a "get out of criticism about dumb things you said" card because of your religion or political affiliation. It doesn't and can't work that way.

No its not. Its about his whole brand of politics casting Muslims as bad people.

cinyc (and the creator of this thread) knows this. They are just being trolls.

Wow.. this thread and the comments from the deplorables are worse than YouTube comments. But whatever it takes to OWN THE LIBS, amirite MAGAtards?!

Omar should not have described the 9/11 attacks in such a dismissive and disrespectful way. I watched that video Trump in that video was clearly responding to her describing the 9/11 attacks in a dismissive and disrespectful way. She could have made her point in any other way but she decided to make this one which either makes her comments either outrageous or extremely stupid .

Trump in this video wasn't being Islamaphobic and yes he has in the past but maybe instead attack him for those instead of defending Omar's outrageous and idiotic comments just because she has a D next to her name.

You repeating yourself over and over again like a parrot with your "disrespectful" ways isn't going to change anything.
This has been blown totally out of proportion by MAGAtards, and you OSR should be ashamed of yourself for inciting additional hate, that could lead to the Congresswoman's death or that of her family.

Trump should take the log out of his own eye before he attempts to remove the speck from someone else's:

Narcissist trump saying things that are "disrespectful" to the 9/11 event and the deaths it caused.
Where is OSR with his outrage?

I'll cut her some slack as to the above.  She's already shown herself as anti-American; we probably shouldn't pile on with things like this.  I've heard enough from her to know where here heart is, and where it is not.

LOL.
You talking about where people's "heart is" is comical.

If she didn’t have the D next to her name I wonder how many people would defend her

If she was a white man with an R next to her name, you would just ignore all her faults like you do the Orange Clown.
