It's funny no one wants to play literally the strongest monarch in Europe

I certainly appreciate the enthusiasm, gentelemen, but the game hasn't started yet (there seem to be some PM's flying around). I think I'll start messaging former players to gauge interest for the Hapsburgs.
In my humble opinion, Dereich would be the most suited to take this role.

If the NPC pope has already taken decisions I think the best would be for Kalwejt to take the role next turn.

Given the midterms results I fully expect Kingpoleon to be elected Holy Roman Emperor

Lumine, thank you for all you're doing.

Prestige has replaced legitimacy correct?

Ah, yes, I forgot to mention that. "Legitimacy" wasn't really useful when you have several hereditary monarchs around, so I decided to bring back "Prestige" to display the level of respect the monarch commands (particularly abroad).
Yes it's just initially I thought that my legitimacy went from "very high" to "medium", so I was scared lol.

Personally I have always been opposed to have the Papacy being playable, just imagine how much damage that could cause, it's too complex and so many things are at stake.

For the record,
I'm always cautious with moves so they don't look like "too early". I was inspiring myself from the Medicis bank in the XIXth century. That's why I believed it wouldn't have caused any problems.

But I obviously understand and respect your reasoning.

I only sent in military orders for the midterm because I was hoping to crush the Moscow boyars quickly.
Why did you want to crush the boyars?

The turn is supposed to be finished today, within six and a half hours or so. Is that okay or will players need an extension?
I request an extension of 1 day if that is possible.
Thanks,

It will take a while to write the update because I have a lot of orders to simulate (and a lot of battles too), but the dice rolls are done.

At least five of you faced potential death, and there's two game overs.
Oh my god

The Pope should be dead soon he died in 1521 IRL.

If we’re going by that, I should be dead too. Selim I died in 1520.

End of Turn update is up!

1521 will be up either on Thursday or Friday Night. TimTurner recieved an inactivity game over and thus the Safavid Empire is open. Since 1521 will feature an interactive Papal Conclave (like the Imperial Election), it's up to Kal whether he wishes to continue as the Medici and try to win the Conclave or whether he prefers to switch to a different nation.

I really doubt I can manage to play the conclave. I fear this game is just too difficult for me.
Mayve you could rejoin as the Shah?

Actually, I won't be taking any role. I've long planned to go on an extended leave from the Atlas and with game over, there's no reason for me to prolonge this.
Best of luck in your life!
