I'm afraid I cannot count this as meeting and I have no idea if you're intelligent.  Sorry.

So tempting to mention the dreaded O word.

Non Swing Voter's post says more about himself than it does about people who oppose same sex marriage. To simply use his own encounters in a liberal region to insinuate that opponents are unintelligent is incredibly naïve, and thus for someone who is insinuating that he is intelligent he appears to be totally cavalier about differences in demographics outside his region which affect voters' attitudes.

However, while the Republicans here have made a compelling case that upper class people and grocery baggers typically don't inter-mingle, few have made a compelling case that those under 35 who oppose gay marriage are not social degenerates.

It's funny that you should say that since your level of analysis as to how you think people under 35 who oppose gay marriage are unintelligent was completely flawed, and consisted simply of a couple of lines in which you slagged off working class people. This has again been exemplified by your use of the term; "social degenerates", to refer to those who "bag groceries" and whoever has a lower paid job than yourself. You're a disgrace.

Glad to see that a significant majority have voted "yes"

What's highly worrying is that you seem like the sort of person who would take the result of an internet poll on an ideologically driven forum to be the actual answer to your question.
The question you had asked is in fact an interesting one. Unfortunately, you have absolutely no desire whatsoever to try and pursue any intellectual, rational, or quantitative methodology to try and answer your question, which highlights that instead of actually being concerned or interested, you're only trying to promote a talking point.

I probably shouldn't have addressed him in the 2nd person as he has already vowed to "never again" read any of my posts.
